Cwm Cau - Cadair Idris - Snowdonia
Hello,
I am a physicist studying for a PhD at Sheffield Univeristy in solar coronal physics, having competed a undergraduate MPhys in Physics with Planetary and Space Physics at Aberystwyth University, including spending the last 5 months of my studies at UNIS on Svalbard in the high arctic.
My time in Svalbard was spent studying the ionosphere and the magnetosphere using the modern optical auroral observatory and the EISCAT Svalbard Radar which is a 500MHz backscatter radar station. As well as exploring the wilderness on my snowmobile! Photos from my trip can be found on this website and in my picasa gallery.
